Universal lead capture · Any badge · Your own phones · No rentals

§ 01 · The problem, by the numbers
Teams spend heavily to be on the floor, then hand the follow-up to a rented scanner and a CSV export. This is the industry's report card.
§ 02 · Booth procedure
Four steps. Capture, with its one-tap score, is all your booth staff touches; the rest runs itself.
01
Point a phone at whatever they hand you. Badge, card, QR code, handwritten note. Ten seconds per scan, then back to the conversation.
02
Tendro fills in what the badge left out. Enriched email, title, company, the account owner already in your CRM. Typing at the booth becomes the exception.
03
Tag hot, warm, or cold at capture. Repeat visitors and multi-event prospects get flagged automatically, so reps call real intent first.
04
Every lead lands in your CRM with notes and event tag, matched against your existing records and routed by your own assignment rules.
§ 03 · How badge reading actually works
“The badge is a license plate. We read the print.”
— How it works, in one line
Most badge barcodes encode exactly one thing: a row ID in the organizer's database. The rental scanner reads it because the organizer rents you the decoder. That is the whole product.
Tendro reads the printed face. Name, company, title, sitting in plain sight. We OCR the print, enrich it into a full contact record, and label every field with its source: badge, QR, or enrichment.
Open QR codes get parsed. Locked ones get flagged as locked; the printed name and company still capture normally.
We would rather tell you how it works than have you find out at the booth.

§ 04 · Network conditions
A show floor at 11am is concrete, steel, and thousands of phones sharing half-duplex WiFi. Every capture saves to the device first.
Scans queue locally, the app keeps moving, and the whole backlog syncs the second signal comes back. Nobody stands there watching a spinner while a prospect walks.
No reliance on organizer systems or venue setup. The floor can lose power and your queued scans are still on the phone. No hardware to rent, ship, or return.

§ 05 · Destinations
Enriched, deduped, and routed on the way in. No manual entry, no import wizard.
Any API. If your CRM has a public API and is not listed, we build the connection in time for your first event; webhooks carry the lead anywhere else with full context. No CSV export, no cleanup in Excel. Every destination.
§ 06 · From a customer
“Events used to mean chaos after the booth: manual CRM entry, lost follow-ups. Now every scan is in the CRM the same day, and follow-up goes out while the show is still running.”
§ 07 · Proof of pipeline
Every lead carries its event tag from first scan to closed deal, so revenue rolls up per show inside your own CRM.
The follow-up window is real. In HBR's audit of 2,241 companies, average lead response ran 42 hours and 23% never responded at all. That audit measured web leads; booth leads age no better.
§ 08 · Rate card
Organizer scanners run $249 to $735 per device, and every extra scanner is another line on the invoice. Tendro covers your whole booth staff for one flat rate. Every phone, every scan, every integration.
Running a full calendar? The season pass prices the year in volume: flat per-event rates that drop with volume.
$499
Per event. Never per seat or per device.
The rental math, for comparison
Break-even is the second person on most organizer forms; every person after that is free, and the app stays on your team's phones for the next show at the same $499 flat rate. The rental goes back in the box.

§ 09 · Straight answers
Tendro captures badges, business cards, QR codes, and photographed notes from any booth conversation. About ten seconds of booth time per capture, on the iPhones and Androids your team already carries.
Scanned leads land in your CRM within 10 seconds of capture on a live connection, enriched, scored, and tagged to the event. Offline captures queue on the device and sync the moment signal returns, so nothing is lost and follow-up fires as soon as the lead lands.
Tendro connects natively to the major CRMs, Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, Pipedrive, and Zoho, and to any CRM or tool with a public API. Not on the list? We ship the connection in time for your first event, and webhooks cover anything else from day one. Each capture lands enriched, deduped, and routed by your own assignment rules.
On a live connection, Tendro pushes each scanned lead to Salesforce or HubSpot through native OAuth in under 10 seconds. Offline captures queue and sync on reconnect. Each lead lands enriched, deduped, and tagged to its event campaign; no CSV export, no import wizard, and field mapping is configurable per team.
Universal capture apps connect natively to major CRMs; Tendro connects to Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Pipedrive, and any CRM with a public API. The check that separates tools is native sync at scan time versus a CSV export after the show, so ask every vendor which one they mean.
Most badge barcodes carry only an opaque registration ID, like a license plate, that no third-party app can resolve into contact data. Tendro reads the printed badge face instead. The camera reads the printed text (OCR), enrichment fills in the rest, and every field is labeled by its source.
Tendro still captures encrypted badges: it reads the printed face, where name, company, and title sit in plain sight, and enriches from there. Open QR codes parse normally, locked ones get flagged as locked, and where enrichment cannot confirm a field it says so instead of guessing.
Tendro works at any show that allows bring-your-own capture, which is most of them: it reads the printed badge face, no organizer contract required. A few shows restrict outside capture; ask us about yours and we will tell you straight.
Yes. Every capture saves to the device first and the whole backlog syncs the moment signal comes back. No reliance on organizer systems or venue setup.
Venue WiFi is throttled and shared; McCormick Place caps complimentary WiFi at 768 Kbps and recommends wired lines for critical apps. Tendro queues every capture on the device and syncs on reconnect, so a dead network never costs a lead.
Enrichment accuracy is verifiable on your own cards before you pay. Every CRM field is labeled with its source, badge, QR, or enrichment, so you see what was read and what was inferred; run free trial scans and count the correct emails yourself. We would rather you measure than trust a marketing percentage.
Tendro costs $499 per event as of 2026: unlimited team members, unlimited phones, unlimited scans, never per seat or per device. Organizer rental scanners run $400 to $700 per device per event; one flat rate covers the whole booth staff.
The free trial covers 25 test scans and real enrichment at your desk, with no credit card. CRM sync starts with your first paid event, $499 flat for the whole team.
The season pass prices a full event calendar: flat per-event rates that drop with volume. Send your calendar through the quote form and a person replies within four business hours with a per-event rate and a payment link; a demo is optional.
§ 10 · Last call
We have seen the lead capture problem at thousands of events. Now we have fixed it.
One app. Any badge. No hardware rentals.
